When we’re asked to perform an Olympic task, of course we will rise to the occasion, so when we were asked to lay the flooring for the kitting out of our Team GB heroes at the NEC, we immediately accepted the challenge.
The kitting out event sees hundreds of athletes collecting their clothing and accessories over the month of June, ready to do battle in Tokyo this summer. With over 3000sqm of Electric Xpo-Rib carpet needed, time was of the essence. The carpet had to be sturdy enough to stand a month of use, as well as look great longer-term.
Our team sprang into action and got the flooring laid perfectly in just four hours – ready for these goliaths of sport.
