Beechwood Event Flooring were delighted to be selected as the flooring company for this year’s BAFTA Film Awards red carpet event.
The hybrid event brought stars from around the world together, whether virtually or in person. The carpet had to stand up to scrutiny from the world’s press and still convey the prestige of the event, even where the carpet itself was on a smaller scale than usual.
The client chose the luxury Xpo-Velour range, giving them deeper, plush piles and a great look to the area. Our knowledgeable fitters were able to take the plans and make them a slick, seam-free reality within a couple of hours, then left the site looking fantastic and ready for the camera.
When the event was finished and the stars had returned home, our fitters quickly and quietly took this carpet for full recycling – as our red carpet is also green at heart!
